for its hieght,it's strength,it's giant flowers. The flowers always face the Sun
and follow it all day. This also applies at night during moonlight.

TOUGH GOING FOR THE CROWD TRYING TO MAKE THEIR WAY THROUGH THE MARKET ON A REALLY BUSY DAY.
>The busiest time in the market is around about 10.30a.m until 2.00p.m.So really it is easier to move about between 8a.m and 10.30a.m.
It gives you time to browse at leisure and find the treasures you may be looking for.
CURLY SELLING A TREE FERN.

SOMETHING ELSE UNUSUAL.YELLOW THUMBERGIA
GROWN IN THE FORM OF A PILLAR.

These magnificent specimens,6 feet high. Also known as Blackeyed Susan, will cover themselves with something like a thousand brightly coloured flowers during the course of a summer.
THE FLAMINGO ROOMS.
A really fine assortment of tropical exotica.Indoor and outdoor plants on sale in all shapes and sizes. Both for the connoissseur and the amatuer.Such a selection of rarities is not always seen in one place.
VARIOUS ACERS HOLDING UP THE SCHOOL WALL.
In this case the Acers seem to be trying to outshine
the colourful school wall and making a good job of it.
Incidently the school wall was made and is maintained by the
Columbia Road schoolchildren.
It really is an interesting sight.A colourful mosaic mural.
DATURA AT THE BACK.SUMMER POTS AT THE FRONT.
Stately DATURA are really a striking plant to grow.Their large trumpet flowers hang in profusion. To possess one of these would surely make any neighbour envious

HAVING A REST.
This little fella having a well earned rest with his Nan,
waiting for Mum and Dad to come along with more plants.
SKAEVOLA AND LEMPRANTHUS ON SALE ON MY PITCH
Blue Skaevola better known as 'Half Daisy', because all the bright blue flowers look as if they have been cut completely in half. They make an excellent trailing plant, as do also the bright pink Lempranthus which flowers like mad. The flowers open up in sunlight, then close in the evening. They also open in the moonlight, hence the name 'Moon Daisy'.
PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE...
What better than to wait under the trees
at the end of the market, with your purchases,
watching the world go by,
while waiting to be picked up by your transport.
LEMON COLOURED ALPINE POPPIES.
Alpine Poppies are a must for any garden, especiallyon a rockery. They flower continuosly through the summer, they are delicate looking but are quite robust. There are other colours.Don't miss them.
