Colin is quite a salesman,he makes a lot of noise.
It keeps the punters on their toes,
otherwise they may miss many of his bargains,of which he has plenty.
He often has Citrus fruit trees such as Orange or Lemon.He travels the world looking for unusual exotic plants to bring back to tempt the customer.
EACH WEEK THERE IS SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

VARIOUS FEATURE FILMS AND T.V.PROGRAMMES.
The market has been included on many occasions in
the making of garden programmes.Occasional feature
films have also been involved in scenes within the market.
I will show you some photographs at a laterdate.
The latest film company SPIRE FILMS has just finished filming a documentary at the market to be shown on T.V. at a later date. The first programme was shown
on U.K.Style on 28th August at 10.30 p.m.under the title of COLUMBIA ROAD GARDENS AT ONE TIME WE WERE CONSIDERED THE EAST END OF LONDON'S SECRET LITTLE MARKET NOW !! --- WE ARE THE LITTLE MARKET

IT IS NOW APRIL 24th 2014 BELOW ARE SOME OF THE ARTICLES ON SALE OVER THE PAST FEW SUNDAYS.
We have been selling Hardy Bedding plants,such as Pansies.Patio and window box plants and similar items in trays and pots.
MAINSTREAM-- we still have a good selection of general plants including a terrific variety of Flowering and Evergreen Shrubs,Ornamental trees,Dwarf and Tall Conifers,Bush Roses,Climbing Roses,Standard Roses and Climbing plants of all descriptions. Bulbs have been much in demand.
Then there are Hardy Herbaceous plants,Rockery and Ground cover plants in variety also various HERBS
IF THESE ARE NOT ENOUGH. There are Bamboo.Olive,Bay and Palms,not forgetting Citrus,Orange,Lemon or Lime,plus so much more it is really so indescribable.
